location and breakfast
We ordered a paper both mornings and didnt receive this. When we checked out we were asked to pay the full room rate which was already paid for prior to our arrival. Staff could not find reservation from Booked.net. We were also expected to pay for Breakfast which was also paid. Not a nice experience with your hotel and we won't stay again.

The room was quiet with an excellent view over the lake. The location was central, making it convenient to access downtown. Easily reached Bakini, a restaurant relatively close to the hotel, and had lunch/dinner there.

We stayed in a two-floor loft. This was excellent because it allowed me to watch tv without disturbing my wife who hates it! The bed was very comfortable.
(1) The decor of the accommodation was bleak and colourless. (2) The sofa and other chairs were uncomfortable as they had no backs. Obviously designed for a business meeting! (3) The relatively high cost of the room should have included a daily newspaper instead of charging $1.30 for them! To use a North American term we felt that we were being "nickel and dimed", meaning that trivial items were not thrown in with the overall and relatively high cost. (4) The restaurant was VERY expensive. Breakfasts were good but otherwise the menu was dull. Who ever heard of pumpkin soup, offered at $15, being served EVERY day!! This is the cheapest & most boring of soups. When there is a dearth of local restaurants it is essential that your offerings are both excellent and reasonably priced. After the first experience we went elsewhere, (or just had a salad) although we would have preferred, had the food been better, not to have ventured forth into the outside cold and wet. Your prices are too high because of the large number of employees; I counted eight waiters one evening. Service was generally slow and for one breakfast there was a black hair in the scrambled eggs. My wife suggested that I should have saved it and got a free breakfast. In view of the subsequent costs I should have followed her advice!!

Stayed here for 3 nights and greatly enjoyed my choice. Very, very nice and exceptional staff of the venue in bar and room service. The breakfast had a lot of well presented food and drinks. Central location of this business hotel was a bonus. There was an average restaurant, convenience stores and shops next door...
